New Britain, CT – Local 478, the Connecticut chapter of the International Union of Operating Engineers has selected Gaffney Bennett Public Relations (GBPR) as their Agency of Record.

GBPR will help Local 478, Connecticut’s largest supplier of trained, qualified heavy equipment operators, mechanics, and support personnel raise its profile through a strategic communications and media relations campaign. The purpose of the campaign will be to educate developers, contractors, potential members, elected officials, and the public of Local 478’s history, member benefits and its commitment to communities throughout the state.
